- Positions, balances and transactions from the accounts you choose, through SnapTrade, read-only.
- Anything you upload yourself: a CSV, a screenshot, tax lots, grants you enter.
Dawo reads your portfolio. It cannot touch it.
Dawo computes, sources and compares. It does not tell you what to buy, sell or hold, and it does not execute anything. Brokerage connections use SnapTrade in read-only mode, and the data flow is intentionally narrow.
- Place a trade, move money, or change anything at your broker.
- See or store your broker password. The connection is an encrypted token you can revoke.
- Use your portfolio to train AI models, sell data, or show ads. We require the same of every model provider.
- Stored in a Postgres database (Neon, US) and served from Fly.io, scoped to your account.
- To produce a read or answer a question, the relevant symbols, holdings context and your own notes are sent to Anthropic's Claude, with OpenAI as a fallback. Neither retains it for training.
- Product analytics through PostHog and error reports through Sentry, without portfolio contents.
- Disconnect a broker in Settings and its tokens are deleted at once.
- Delete your account in Settings; residual data is purged within 30 days.
- Export any read as a Markdown or PDF memo with its sources; your holdings export as CSV.
Every input is dated
Reported figures come from filings, calls, press releases, market feeds or broker data with the source and as-of date preserved.
Every model output is labeled
Price-needs, scenarios, stress tests and tax-cost maps are Dawo computations, shown separately from reported prints.
Every live claim can be checked later
The read ledger records what the price needed from a driver and scores it only when the next company print arrives.
Historical proof is labeled point-in-time only when every source was available by the anchor date. Anything else is a retrospective replay, not validation.
You can try the demo without an account. If you later connect a broker, Dawo receives position, balance and transaction data through SnapTrade; it does not receive your broker password and has no trading or money-movement tools.
