Connector

Use Dawo from Claude or ChatGPT

Dawo is the desk over the stocks you own: what each price needs from the drivers the company reports, what a change would cost, and the view you write down. The connector puts that inside the assistant you already use. Every figure comes with its date and its source; nothing is executed and nothing is recommended. The view is yours to write, and Dawo keeps the record.

Connect

Claude. Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector. Server URL https://mcp.dawo.ai/mcp. Choose Sign in now. You will land on Dawo's consent screen; sign in to Dawo if asked, then Allow. Set the read-only tools to Always allow and leave the one write, Record your view, on Needs approval.

ChatGPT. Settings, Apps and Connectors, add an app with the same server URL and OAuth. The same consent screen follows.

You need a Dawo account with holdings in it, imported by CSV or screenshot or connected read-only through a broker. A name gets its read on first open, so a name you have never looked at answers "no read yet" the first time.

The tools

ToolReturnsAsk, for example
Get the read on a name
get_read
For each driver the company reports: the last print with its date, the driver's own trend, the rate today's price needs it to run at, and where the evidence in filings and calls leans, with sources. What does NVDA's price need from its drivers?
Reprice on your own rates
reprice
The model price at the rates you believe for one or more drivers, the rest at trend, against today's spot. A growth rate is the first-year rate.Reprice NVDA with data-center growth at 30%.
List your holdings
list_holdings
Your holdings with weights, and for each whether a read exists and whether you have recorded a view.Which of my holdings have no view yet?
True exposure to the largest company
true_exposure
Your largest single company as a share of the portfolio, counting unvested grants and what your funds hold of it.How concentrated am I, really?
Price cutting a name to a weight
price_a_cut
What reducing one holding to a share of the portfolio would cost: which lots, the realised gain, the estimated tax, in the order with the least tax. The figure, never an instruction. What would cutting NVDA to 10% cost me?
Get the watches on a name
get_watches
The conditions being watched on a name, each with its last print, its source and whether it has fired. What would change the picture on NVDA?
Get the read ledger
get_ledger
Dawo's public ledger: for each past read and driver, the rate the price needed on that date, sealed with a digest, and what the company printed next. How have Dawo's reads on NVDA held up?
Record your view on a name
record_view
Your own stance (hold, add, trim, exit), your reason in your words, and what would change your mind. With a driver and a rate, Dawo watches that print and tells you when it crosses. The one tool that writes; the assistant asks before it runs.Record that I hold NVDA because the data-center print stayed above what the price needs; revisit if the next print is under 24%.

What it can never do

Ask it to buy, sell or move money and it says so in a sentence and shows the figure that matters instead. Ask which stock to buy and it declines and shows your own book through Dawo's figures.

What is shared, and with whom

What a tool returns is shown inside the assistant's conversation, so the assistant's provider (Anthropic or OpenAI) receives it under their own retention terms. Dawo sends nothing to them outside the tools you invoke.

Ending the connection

Disconnect in the assistant, or revoke the connection in Dawo under Settings, Broker Connections, Connected apps. Revoking ends the connection at once; views already recorded stay in your record.

How a read is made, and how it is scored

The method is on the methodology page: company-reported drivers, every figure a dated print from a filing, no model writing a number, a person reviewing each structure. Every read is sealed on the day and scored by the company's next print on the ledger. The full terms are in the privacy policy.
